Mintimer Shaimiev: And in the future we’ll concentrate on grain

October 6 saw agricultural workers gathered together in Pyramid Convention Centre in Kazan to mark their professional holiday – the Day of Agriculture and Processing Industry.
President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated the gathering on the successful completion of the harvesting season.
The RT President believes that “care about protection and effective use of agricultural lands is the main task of the state and land users. Such attitude has helped us to increase agricultural output by one third, which is twice higher than Russian average”. As a result, “Tatarstan is fully provided with grain, grain forage, and it has an opportunity to sell to outside of the republic”.
Mintimer Shaimiev heartily thanked all workers of the agricultural complex and the RT Agriculture and Industry Ministry and its head.
