Koitiro Mazuura expressed satisfaction with the way cooperation of Tatarstan and UNESCO is developing

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev received a telegram of director general of UNESCO Koitiru Mazuura with words of appreciation in connection with the medal “In commemoration of Kazan millennium”, the press-service of RT President informs.

It is also said in the telegram: ‘I wish I made use of an opportunity to express satisfaction with the way cooperation of Tatarstan and UNESCO is developing. A joint communique signed in June 2003, outlined main directions of our activity and became a significant instrument to consolidate our collaboration. I am glad that UNESCO was associated with Kazan millennial jubilee and Kazan State University 200-years’ jubilee’.
