Governor of Perm region came to Kazan

The delegation headed by Oleg Chirkunov, Governor of Perm region, arrived in the Tatarstan capital on October 30. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, met the head of the region at the airport.

On arrival, Mintimer Shaimiev and Oleg Chirkunov briefed journalists.
“We should learn from those who have managed to achieve something”, the governor of Perm region told journalists. “I think that Tatarstan have accumulated very important and significant experience in various fields. During our two-day stay in Tatarstan we are going to learn and take everything useful and interesting. I am grateful that we are given such a chance”.
Oleg Chirkunov believes that Tatarstan is a leader in such fields as stimulating innovations, creation of technoparks, construction and dilapidate housing elimination. It is, the governor marked, known to all. “We are going to try to carefully study the way law-enforcement activity is organized. We have brought a team of specialists on a wide range of issues”, he added.
Among other issues, the Tatarstan head focused on problems of Tatars living in Perm region.
On the agenda there are visits to houses being built under the Republican social mortgage programme, Idea technopark, where the presentation of the RT economic potential is to take place.
October 31, the delegation of Perm region is to visit Kazan Gorbunov Aviation Production Association JSC and Kazan City Administration. The meeting with President Shaimiev will take place at the Kazan Kremlin.
