Congress of Tatarstan entrepreneurs opened in Tatarstan

December 20 saw the Congress of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan opening in Kazan. RT President Mr. Mintimer Shaimiev is taking part in the work of the Congress. The forum is organized by the RT Agency of development of entrepreneurship with the support of the republican government.

The previous congress was held in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan three years ago. This time, the organizers have changed the procedure – at first the businessmen took part in the work of six sections where various urgent topics were discussed. Proposals of each section are to be included in the resolution of the Congress, which is to be approved at the plenary session.

The largest section – “Development of self-regulated organizations. Administrative barriers. Fight with corruption”. Its organizers and chairs are the Chairman of the RT Union of Insurers, Mr. Vitaly Fedorenkov, and the Chairman of the Council of Expert on issues of private business and support of entrepreneurs under the Republican interagency commission for economic and social reforms, Mr. Pavel Sigal. The section gathered together representatives of various associations, councils and unions of entrepreneurs and governmental officials.
