President of Russian Federation arrived in Kazan

The President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin arrived in Tatarstan capital to take part in the session of the Presidium of RF State Council, where issues concerning construction of available accommodation for wellfare groups of population will be discussed.

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, Plenipotentiary Representative of RF President in Volga Federal District Alexander Konovalov, the Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Kazan city mayor Ilsur Metshin, RT minister of internal affairs Asgat Safarov, and other officials met Vladimir Putin in the international Kazan airport.

Mintimer Shaimiev meets Mikhail Piotrovsky

On 16 October in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiev, who is also the Chairman of the Trustees Council of the regional Revival Fund, had a meeting with the Director General of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremony of opening a new exposition “The Yusupovs. Luxury across the Centuries” at the Hermitage Kazan Exposition Center and which has been prepared especially for the 20th anniversary of the Hermitage’s first representational centre established in 2005 by celebrations of the Kazan Millennium.
