Mintimer Shaimiev met with the best students of Tatarstan

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev met with the scholars of RT State scholarship for students and post-graduates of higher educational institutions and colleges on January 25. RT minister of youth affairs, tourism and sport Marat Bariev, RT minister of science and education Rais Shaikhelislamov, rectors of universities and colleges of Tatarstan took part in the meeting.

75 people became the scholars of a special state scholarship of Tatarstan republic by the results of 2006. The sum of the scholarship was also increased. All the scholars were invited to Kazan Kremlin and awarded with honorary diplomas.
