Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev met with the head of Gagauziya Mikhail Formuzal

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev received the delegation of Gagauziya and its head Mikhail Formuzal at his residence in Kazan Kremlin on March 21. Issues of developing cooperation between Tatarstan Republic and Autonomy-Territorial Formation Gagauziya (Gagauz Yeri) were discussed on the meeting.

Mintimer Shaimiev greeted Mikhail Formuzal and noted that Gagauziya makes a huge contribution to stabilization of political situation in Moldova Republic. Perspectives of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of agriculture, oil-refining, and attraction of Tatarstan investment in Gagauziya were also considered.

Gagauziya head met with RT minister of commerce and external economic cooperation Khafiz Salikhov and RT minister of public health service yesterday. He visited Kazan State University and JSC “Innovational-Manufacturing Technopark “Idea”. The guests plan to get familiarized with a number of republican enterprises and organizations and Kazan Fair.
