Session of the Republican Council on charity took place in Kazan Kremlin

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev has held a session of the Republican Council on charity issues in Kazan Kremlin on April, 11.

The first deputy Prime Minister of RT Ravil Muratov, Vice-Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova, the head of RT President’s Apparatus Yuriy Kamaltynov, heads of republican ministries and departments, representatives of traditional confessions, RT Public Chamber and mass media attended the session.

The head of the republic opened the session and pointed out that the Year of Charity in RT started pretty well. “The idea of charity renascence covers minds and becomes a spiritual guiding line in our society,” – he emphasized.

Vice-Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova informed about improvement of legislation in the field of charity; RT Minister of Law Midkhat Kurmanov made a report on problems concerning tax benefits for philanthropists; RT State Council deputy, and Chairman of Tatarstan Department of All-Russia Invalids Organization Rifat Ganibaev mentioned problems of invalids’ life. RF State Duma deputy Ayrat Khayrullin, Director General of RT Agency on mass communication “Tatmedia’ Marat Muratov, President of RT National-Cultural Communities Association Sagit Jaksibaev, state councilor of the President Tatyana Larionova also made reports on the session.
