RT President Mintimer Shaimiev met the President of China Hu Jintao

The programme of stay of the President of China Hu Jintao in Kazan in the context of a three day visit to Russia was finished with the meeting with RT President Mintimer Shaimiev.

At the meeting China was also presented by the Vice President, the Chairman of the chinese Organizational Committee on holding “National Years” between China and Russia U I, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Li Zhaoxing, the Chairman of the State Committee on Development and Reforms Ma Kai, the Minister of Commerce Bo Silai, head representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, officials of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Among Tatarstan officials who took part in the meeting were RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, the Chief of the RT President’s Office Yuri Kamaltynov, the Deputy RT Prime Minister – RT Minister of Culture Zilya Valeeva, the Deputy Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova, the State Advisor to RT President on International Affairs – the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Timur Akulov, the Minister of RT Trade and Foreign Economic Cooperation – Khafiz Salikhov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China Sergey Razov also took part in the meeting.
