The President of China Hu Jintao acquainted with the sights of the Kazan Kremlin

On March 28 the Chinese delegation headed by the President of China Hu Jintao visited the Kazan Kremlin.

RT President M.S. Shaimiev showed to the Chinese leader the peculiarities of the unique architectural and historical monument of the Tatarstan capital.

During the excursion in the Kazan Kremlin the delegation also visited the main mosque of the republic the Kul Sharif Mosque where the Chinese guests were met by RT Mufti Gusman-hasrat Iskhakov and the imam of the Kul Sharif Mosque Ramil-hasrat Yunusov.

Later on the Chinese guests went to the Annunciation Cathedral where they were accompanied by the Kazan and Tatarstan Archbishop Anastasiy and the guardian of the cathedral the celibate priest Mefodiy.
