President of Czechia arrived in Kazan

April 29, President of Czechia Vaclav Klaus arrived in Kazan within the framework of his official visit to Russia.

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Chairman of the RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin and other officials met the distinguished guest at the International Airport "Kazan".

To welcome the Czech leader, the guard of honour drew up at the airfield. Czech, Russian and Tatarstan flags flied in the front of the airport building.

The same day the Czech-Tatarstan Business Forum is held in “Korston” multifunctional complex. President Vaclav Klaus and President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the opening ceremony of the forum.

Vaclav Klaus will also do a guided tour of the Kazan Kremlin. Meeting between President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus and RT President Mintimer Shaimiev will be held in Kazan Kremlin.
