Apastovsky district is in trustworthy hands, Mintimer Shaimiev considers

“Apastovsky district is in trustworthy hands and on the right track,” - Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev stated to republican journalists after his working trip to the most rapidly developing district of RT Zavolzhye zone on June 2.

According to the head of the republic, rapid growth of economic and social fields of the territory is accomplishment of investor - JSC Holding Company “Zolotoy Kolos” (“Golden Ear”) and the head of the municipal districts Rashit Zagidullin.

Mintimer Shaimiev and deputy RT Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Foodstaff Marat Akhmetov met with heads agricultural formations and settlements. Plant on production of mineral fertilizers - joint project of Holding Company “Zolotoy Kolos” and Fin Firm “Kemira Grow How” was presented as an example of successful labor organization applying advanced achievements of agriculture. The enterprise opened in July 2006 and is rated for launch of 200 thousand tons of fertilizer mixes per year (60 tons an hour). Ammophos, potassium chloride, ammonium nitrate and imported addition micromix are used as raw materials for production of fertilizer mixes. Along with the complex of mobile laboratory, which makes analysis of soil, the plant allows manufacturing fertilizers for needs of a concrete field.

Mintimer Shaimiev in his interview to journalists didn’t conceal his admiration of what he had seen. The President indicated that it is difficult to find proper daily foods in order to fill up necessary microelements and substances even for people, at the same time agricultural science reached the level when each part of the field can be perfected.

According to Mintimer Shaimiev, he has never seen such an excellent condition of corn, wonderful sprouts of winter and spring crops. He also pointed out that “not bad” condition of fields is observed in the republic.
