Chelyabinsk Tank School to be joined to Kazan High Military Command School

There has been held a meeting of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev with commander-in-chief of RF Armed Forces’ land troops, army general Alexei Maslov on June 14 in Kazan Kremlin.

RT first vice Prime Minister Ravil Muratov, vice chairman of Tatarstan State Council Alexander Gusev, the head of Kazan garrison, general Valerie Mironchenko.

Alexei Maslov told about the meeting to the representatives of mass media. He pointed out that most of all they discussed the accomplishment of military schools on the territory of Tatarstan and also about children-orphans’ study in Kazan Suvorov Military School. During the conversation with Mintimer Shaimiev they approved the chairman of Kazan Suvorov Military School’s Tutorial Council: RT first vice Prime Minister Ravil Muratov.

The commander-in-chief informed that due to the decision of RF Ministry of Defense, Kazan High Military Command School will be enlarged by joining to it Chelyabinsk Tank School, which will stop its work. As a result of reorganization all the student of Chelyabinsk Tank School, its staff, educational and material funds will be transmitted to Tatarstan.
