President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev has met with the president of JSC Bank of Moscow Andrey Borodin in Kazan Kremlin on July 19. Andrey Borodin informed the President about plans of Bank of Moscow in Tatarstan and the first results of this work. According to his words, a considerable credit was given to JSC VAMIN. Bahetle Company also uses credit resources of this bank.

“We plan to increase crediting of industry and agriculture of the republic. We understand that agriculture in Tatarstan is efficient and profitable, – A. Borodin emphasized. – Investors are usually frightened that agriculture is a bottomless pit – usually there is no response to the money one invests. Tatarstan is not of that kind, that’s why we are not afraid of any “surprises”.

According to A.Borodin’s words, Bank of Moscow plans to work with citizens of the republic too. “We would like to give more consumer credits to citizens rather than take assets from the population. There is a misbalance in the country: approximately 80 billion rubles are kept in banks in the country while 50 billion rubles are apportioned for consumer credits. 30 billion rubles have to be available,” he explained.

“We plan to develop mortgage crediting, give credits for urgent needs, - A. Borodin said. – People should be able to take credits for cars, redecoration of apartments and other long-term purchases. We consider it to be our main task”.

“No flow-out of assets in the republic is expected, – the head of Bank of Moscow assured Mintimer Shaimiev. – On the contrary, we would like to invest our assets here”. “We welcome it,” – Mintimer Shaimiev stated.

Andrey Borodin also indicated that the bank supports participation in social and charity programs. According to his words, the bank representatives visited Mosques Kul Sharif and Annunciation Cathedral. Some money was given by Bank of Moscow for reconstruction of the Orthodox Cathedral. “Hard work expects us. We would like to become one of the leading crediting-financial institutions of the republic; we will develop pour network on the territory of Tatarstan,” he said.
