Mintimer Shaimiev has received Advisor to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and CEO of RAK Ceramics

August 15, the Tatarstan President received Dr. Khater Massaad, Advisor to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, and CEO of RAK Ceramics.
“We admire your country’s economy and the policy of your government”, Mintimer Shaimiev said to his guests. “Your country has become one of the most economically attractive countries in the world over a short period of time”.
“We feel that the Middle East region is seeking cooperation”, the head of the republic continued. “At my recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin he made a special emphasis on the fact that all Arab countries supported Sochi’s bid for Winter Olympic Games”.
According to the RT President, there are no any obstacles to cooperation between Tatarstan and the UAE. “We have already made the first steps. You have huge experience in organising tourist business. We could open the Arab world for Russians and Russia for Arabs”, Mintimer Shaimiev said.
