Mintimer Shaimiev presented 2007 International Arbuzov Prize

November 1, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev presented Irina Beletskaya, the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Professor of Moscow State University, with the 2007 International Arbuzov Prize in the Kazan Kremlin.

The International Arbuzov Prize for outstanding achievements in phosphorous chemistry was established by the RT President in 1997 to mark the 120th anniversary of the birthday of the founder of this branch Aleksander Arbuzov.

Chief of Staff of the President Yuri Kamaltynov, Education and Science Minister Nail Valeyev, Chairman of the State Council Committee on culture, science, education and national issues Razil Valeyev, President of the RT Academy of Sciences Ahmet Mazgarov and others took part in the ceremony.
