Mintimer Shaimiev voted in the elections of State Duma deputies

December 2, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and his spouse came to polling station 59 that housed in cadet boarding school 6 in order to take part in the elections of RF State Duma deputies.
The President spoke with the voters and asked the members of the electoral commission about the turnout. Young cadets put on a performance showing folk songs and dances.
The President’s voting took about two minutes. After that he spoke to journalists. Mintimer Shaimiev said he was in good mood. “We are finishing the year with indicators higher than expected in all fields of social and economic development”, the President emphasized.
