Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the opening of the bridge over the River Vyatka

December 9 saw the opening of the bridge over the River Vyatka near Vyatskie Polyany, Kirov region.
The ceremony was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Sergei Ivanov, Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy in the Volga Federal District Aleksander Konovalov, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev and Governor of the Kirov region Nikolai Shaklein.
The bridge establishes easier interregional connections between Tatarstan, Udmurtia, the Kirov region, the Nizhni Novgorod region and the Perm krai. Therefore, it has been called the bridge of five bridges.
