Mintimer Shaimiev met with Consul General of Iran in Kazan

December 11, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev received Reza Bagheban Kondori, the Consul General of Iran in Kazan.
The Tatarstan President congratulated the Iranian diplomat on coming into office as Consul General of Iran. “First and foremost, it is the continuation of friendly relations between Russia and Iran aimed at further cooperation of our countries. I would like to thank the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran for giving us an opportunity to strengthen our cultural ties. This opens up great opportunities for economic development. Our latest contacts with Iranian organs of governments and companies demonstrate that there is mutual interest in it”, Mintimer Shaimiev marked.
Expert of the Iranian Consulate General Mohammad Hatamizadeh, Chief of Staff of the RT President Yuri Kamaltynov, State Advisor to the President on international affairs – Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Timur Akulov, heads of ministers and organisations and other officials took part in the meeting.
