Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated young guests of Tatarstan’s main New Year Tree party

December 27, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated the young guests of the republican New Year Tree party held in the Basket-hall.
As many as 5500 young people of Tatarstan – 7-11-grade students, school activists, A-students, winners of festivals and sport competitions, as well as 2 thousand school age children from Tatarstan cities and districts got together for the main New Year Tree Party of the republic.
President Shaimiev congratulated the guests and send his congratulations to teachers and parents of the little guests. He also reminded that the coming year was announced the Year of the Family. “The family is we, our friends and relatives. We love you very much. You accomplished a lot this year. I would like to wish you to learn well, be proactive and bring joy to us all. Whatever we undertake, we succeed. Buldyrabyz! We can! Success! Good luck!” Mintimer Shaimiev said.
Together with the President, Chief of Staff of the President Yuri Kamaltynov, Deputy Prime-minister – Minister of Culture Zilya Valeyeva, Deputy Chairman of the State Council Rimma Ratnikova and other officials attended the event.
