Results of the national agrarian project discussed in Tukaevski and Sarmanovski districts

The republican seminar and meeting attended by Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev is taking place in the territory of Tatarstan’s two municipal districts – Tukaevski and Sarmanovski – on February 25. The event is dedicated to two-year results of implementation of the national project “Development of the agro-industrial complex” and tasks for 2008-2012.

The practical part of the seminar-meeting started with a pleasant event – the official opening of the poultry processing plant OOO Chelny-Broiler. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev was one of the first high-ranking guest who saw the plant.
The head of the republic in his trip to the Kama region was accompanied by Prime-minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief of Staff of the President Yuri Kamaltynov, Deputy Prime-minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, ministers of transport and roads, construction and architecture and housing, and other officals.
After the lunch, the participants of the meeting gathered in the village of Yultimerovo, Sarmanovsky district to visit agricultural firm Nurkei and examine how the investor applies innovative approaches in crop farming, see the exhibition of state-of-the-art agricultural machinery and equipment.
Next point on the agenda was the plenary meeting in the village of Sarmanovo.
