Mintimer Shaimiev took part in Russia's presidential pool

March 2, at the polling station No 59, that housed in the cadet boarding school No 6, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and his wife took part in the Russia's presidential pool.
After voting, RT President spoke with journalists.
Mintimer Shaimiev said he was in good mood coming to the polling station. "Participation in the country's presidential elections is also fulfillment of one's civic duty. I hope that the candidate I voted for will become head of state. This nominee arouses hopes of our people for further improvement of life, for stability, for calm, peace and friendship in our multinational country," he said.
