Mintimer Shaimiev met with Russian Information Technologies and Communication Minister Leonid Reiman

April 4, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev met with Russian Minister of Information Technologies and Communication Leonid Reiman.
Valeri Bagaenko, the head of the Federal Agency for Communication, Ravil Muratov, the acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Evgeny Grishin, the State Advisor to the RT President on economic issues, Farit Fazylzyanov, the Minister of Informatisation of the Republic of Tatarstan, and other officials also attended the meeting.
“The communication and information sector is the most dynamic among those in Russia today,” the Head of the republic said opening the meeting. Without your work we will not be able to make our country competitive at the global level.”
Mintimer Shaimiev also expressed his gratitude to Leonid Reiman for his support for republican initiatives on communication development at the federal level, for the help in implementation of a number of high-tech projects. He also marked that all the informatisation projects in Tatarstan should be leading in terms of efficiency given the republic’s high intellectual potential.
