Mintimer Shaimiev: “United Russia is responsible for situation in the country since now”

April 15, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev has commented agreement of Vladimir Putin to head United Russia.
“Since now the party, which carried the majority in State Duma, became responsible for what is going on in a social and economic area of our country”, the head of the republic said on-line.
“Vladimir Putin headed the party; United Russia gained majority of places in State Duma; and now there is nobody to blame. The Government will prepare projects of laws, aimed at practical realization of the tasks until 2020; the State Duma will adopt them. Thus, United Russia will be responsible for situation in the country”, Mintimer Shaimiev has pointed out.

On 6 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev laid flowers to the monument of the Great Russian poet Aleksandr Pushkin by the Jalil State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kazan.
