Mintimer Shaimiev: the conditions for carrying out major repairs are unprecedented

A video conferenced enlarged meeting of the Tatarstan Government devoted to implementation of the Federal Law on the Foundation for reorganizing housing and communal services was held in the RT Cabinet of Ministers on April 28. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev attended the meeting.
"We have always been doing a lot to resolve housing issues, but today's meeting is devoted to the activity new for us in terms of scale - major housing repairs. We did it in that or other degree, but it did not have an effect evident for people," the head of republic noted opening the meeting.
Mintimer Shaimiev emphasized that major repairs should become one of mainstreams in the work of the Tatarstan Government. "Each house needs to be examined. It is for the first time that the state gives such means. We are short of time," he said.
