Tatarstan President receiving many congratulations telegrams

Office of the Tatarstan President received a telegram with congratulations from Deputy head of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Ms. Svetlana Zhurkova. "This victory is a sign of the international sports community confidence that our country’s regions are ready to hold high level competitions. On top of that, taking part in the Universiade, as well as training for it will give an extra impetus to the growth of youth and university sports", - states the telegram.

Russian Federation minister on protection of citizens, natural hazards and emergency management Mr. Sergei Shoigu sent his congratulations to Mintimer Shaimiev. Telegram states: "This victory is a result of a lot of effort. Thanks to your attention, the popularity of game sports in the republic is rising, many modern sports facilities are built, Olympic movement is growing stronger".

Russian Federation minister for transport Mr. Igor Levitin stressed: "… it’s been long since you are worthy to receive the right to host such an important international event".

Head of the Federal agency for physical culture and sports Mr. Vyacheslav Fetisov: "This is a great victory for the Republic of Tatarstan and for all of Russia. It’s a result of efforts made by the Republic’s leadership into increasing physical culture and sports popularity among the population".

President of the Republic of Bashkortostan Mr. Mortaza Rakhimov expressed his conviction that "the republic will be ready to host this important sports event and World University games will be conducted at the highest level. Athletes from all over the world will come together in Kazan, showing their mastery, motivation to be the best, inscribing new pages into the history of International sports!".

Governor of Moscow oblast, Soviet Union hero Mr. Boris Gromov: "This is a clear sign of recognizing the Republic of Tatarstan’s efforts in stimulating growth of professional and mass sports, Russia’s social and economic achievements".

Governor of Kemerovo oblast Mr. Aman Tuleyev: "This is fair and beautiful victory of all citizens of Russia. Achievements of our famous sportsmen contributed significantly into the growth of Olympic movement. Our country gives great importance to the growth of high level and mass types of sports. We are well aware of the importance of your contribution into the victory, as well as growth of sports in Tatarstan and Russia in general".

Governor of Leningrad oblast Mr. Valery Serdiukov: "Your rich experience resulting in wise policies of strategic approach to statehood brought wonderful fruits. I have no doubt that Tatarstan, as always, will warmly welcome the guests of our coutry on its lands of rich history and that World Universiade will be a wonderful rehearsal for the Olympics to be held in Sochi".

Governor of Bryansk oblast Mr. Nikolai Denin: "This victory was predictable. It signifies the attention to sports given in the region and all of Russia".

Honorary president of the Russian field hockey federation Mr. Nikolai Koshman and president of the Russian field hockey federation Mr. Sergei Chechenkov: "Hosting Summer Universiade can only be compared in its importance to hosting Summer Olympic games. The field hockey center built in Kazan marks new stage of field-hockey growth in Russia, Europe and the world".

Deputy minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Mr. Alu Alkhanov stated that Kazan’s victory “is another proof to the policy of tolerance conducted by the leadership of Tatarstan and Russia. Well-weighted steps in the international relations, unity of views in the field of history and policy bring about possibility for great achievements. I wish Tatarstan to implement well the honorary mission it received from the representatives of the whole world".

Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Russian Federation Mr. Enver Khalilovich: "This is an international acknowledgement of your great contribution to improving the quality of life of the people of the Republic of Tatarstan, living and studying conditions of Kazan college students".
