Alexey Gordeyev arrived in Tatarstan

Aleksei Gordeyev, the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, arrived in Tatarstan on June 10. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and RT Deputy Prime-minister-Agriculture and Food Minister Marat Akhmetov met the distinguished guest in the Kazan International Airport.

Right after the landing, Aleksei Gordeyev, Mintimer Shaimiev and Marat Akhmetov flew by helicopter to the Arsk district, Tatarstan, where they were to take part in the opening ceremony of the dairy complex of OOO Ak Bars Agro.

June 11, Russian Agriculture Minister is planned to visit OOO "Chelny-Broiler", Tatarstan's leading enterprise of the poultry-farming branch.

Aleksei Gordeyev will also visit the Saby district, Tatarstan, to familiarize himself with the course of implementation of the Federal target programme "Social development of village till 2012" and examine the pig-breeding complex of OOO Agronucleus Saba.
