Seminar-session with participation of Tatarstan President took place in Aksubaevo

Republican seminar-session “On results of republican agricultural goods producers’ work in the first half of the current year and tasks for harvesting 2008” with participation of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took place in Aksubaevo Municipal District.

Officials of the republic, heads of ministries and departments, municipal districts, large agro-holdings took part in the session.

Participants of the event were got familiarized with innovative farming technologies on the experimental field of VAMIN-Aksu agro-firm. They also visited the reconstructed dairy complex of the agro-firm.

The seminar-session program also included presentation of modern agricultural equipment, technical service. Then the session’s plenary part was held.

Mintimer Shaimiev meets Mikhail Piotrovsky

On 16 October in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiev, who is also the Chairman of the Trustees Council of the regional Revival Fund, had a meeting with the Director General of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremony of opening a new exposition “The Yusupovs. Luxury across the Centuries” at the Hermitage Kazan Exposition Center and which has been prepared especially for the 20th anniversary of the Hermitage’s first representational centre established in 2005 by celebrations of the Kazan Millennium.
