The President of Tatarstan Held a Meeting on Issues Regarding the Development of the RT Power Sector

July 26, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, M. Sh. Shaimiev, held a meeting in the Kremlin on issues regarding the development of the power sector of the Republic of Tatarstan.

At the meeting the following issues were brought up: attracting investment into JSC “Generating Company” from major consumers of heat and electric energy into the republic, specifically, potential participation in the authorized capital of major companies such as petrochemical enterprises JSC “Tatneft”, “TAIF” group of companies, JSC “Nizhnekamsneftekhim”, JSC “Kazanorgsintez”, as well as JSC “Kamaz” and others.

During the meeting, M. Sh. Shaimiev highlighted that the main task remains the speedy modernization of ways to generate electrical energy and heat while conserving the integrity in order to be competitive on the market.
