Laishevsky district is hosting the republican pedagogical conference attended by Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and Russian Education and Science Minister Andrey Fursenko

August 21, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev is visiting the Laishevsky municipal district where he is to take part in the republican pedagogical conference. This year, this August conference is also attended by the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Andrey Fursenko. 

On the agenda is also President Shaimiev's and Minister Fursenko's visit to the Stolbishche secondary school followed by a presentation of the programme "Healthy food for schoolchildren" in the half-finished product factory in Sokury.

The participants of the republican pedagogical conference "Quality education as a basis of competitiveness of the Republic of Tatarstan" gathered to discuss prospects for development of the education system in the republic, modernization of vocational training and implementation of the Education national project in Tatarstan.

Tatarstan Prime-minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Council and Government officials, heads of district administrations and ministries, departments, federal territorial structures, university rectors are taking part in the conference.
