Eid mubarak!

Dear Muslims of Tatarstan,

Please accept my sincere congratulations on occasion of Eid al-Fitr! 

This celebration is founded on widely accepted human values of kindness, compassion and attention to those around us. All its deep meaning is reflected in a hadith, depicting immortal words of our prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "Every act of kindness is a charity (sadaqa)". This truth, reflecting the foundations of Islam and other wide-spread religions, is especially important today. No matter what religions we follow and what nations we represent, only love towards a fellow man and respect to all people’s cultures and traditions can guarantee peace and tranquility.

Tatarstan has unique religious traditions that motivate us to keep our national identity whilst integrating the republic into all-Russian and worldwide processes.

I am confident that Muslims of Tatarstan will continue serving as worthy examples of tolerance and piety, contributing into ethno-confessional dialogue and further strengthening our home Republic.

Dear people of Tatarstan! May celebration of Eid al-Fitr bring strength and inspiration to each and everyone, support our inclination to do good  to others, and bring joy and bright hopes into every family!
