Igor Shuvalov has come in Kazan

The First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation arrived at the Kazan International Airport late on Friday, October 10. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime-minister Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met Igor Shuvalov at the airport.

It is planned that the First Vice-Premier will see a presentation of the draft programme of preparation of Kazan's infrastructure to host the 27th World Summer Universiade in 2013. The meeting with the President of the International University Sport Federation (FISU), George Killian, and the FISU Secretary General, Eric Saintrond, will take place at the City Hall of Kazan. Then, in presence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, the parties will sign the Agreement on preparation and carrying out of the Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.

The First Vice-Premier of Russia is accompanied by Elvira Nabiullina, the Minister of Economic Development of Russia.
