President of Tatarstan presented Shawkat Galiev with medal "For Valorous Labour"

November 21, Mintimer Shaimiev, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented the national poet of Tatarstan, Shaukat Galiev, with the medal "For Valorous Labour" at the Kazan Kremlin.

The day before, the well-known children's poet Shaukat Galiev (Shaukat Galeevich Idiyatullin) marked his 80th anniversary.

Yury Kamaltynov, the Head of Staff of the RT President, Zilya Valeyeva, the Deputy Prime-minister – RT Minister of Culture, Razil Valeyev, the Chairman of the RT State Council Committee for culture, science, education and national issues, Ilfak Ibragimov, the President of the RT Union of Writers, also attended the award ceremony at the Kazan Kremlin.
