Football club “Rubin” was honored in “Basket-Hall”

On the evening of November 22, the solemn celebration of Football Club "Rubin" took place in the BSS "Basket-Hall, on which gold medals of the 2008 winners of the Russian Premier League Championship were handed to the members of the team. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated Champions of Russia.
In 2008, "Rubin" is celebrating its 50th anniversary. In the year of jubilee "Rubin" set up a new record of Russia, having won 7 games in the first 7 rounds. The entire season of 2008, "Rubin" was in the lead and won the gold medal ahead of schedule, three rounds to finish the tournament.
