Mintimer Shaimiev met with Sergey Shmatko

December 2, the meeting of Mintimer Shaimiev, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and Sergey Shmatko, the Minister of Energy of Russia was held in Kazan Kremlin.

Sergey Mikhailov, Director of the State Energy Policy Department of the RF Ministry of Energy, Vasily Zubakin, acting Chairman of "RusHydro", Rustam Minnikhanov, the RT Prime Minister and other officials participated in the meeting.

Sergey Shmatko arrived in Kazan to take part in X International Special Exhibition "Energy. Resource Saving - 2008" and IX International Symposium "Energy Saving and Power Efficiency", which were opened at "Kazan Fair" on December 2.

At the same day the RF Minister of Energy took part in the joint sitting of RT Government and Coordinating Council for energy saving and power efficiency, connections with business and regions "Improvement of the legislation in the sphere of energy saving and realization of state policy power and resource efficiency in the regions of Russian Federation by the example of the Republic Tatarstan".
