Tatarstan Paralympic weight-lifter becomes Russian champion

The competitions took place in Suzdal city. The Paralympics-2008 silver prize-winner lifted a 190 kg weight and surpassed the closest rival by 60 kg.
Ayrat Zakiev competed in the weight class under-60 kg. At Russian bench pressing championship among men, which had finished three days before the competition among Paralympic sportsmen, the best result was 175 kg. So Ayrat Zakiev managed to surpass even that result.

During the conversation Vladimir Putin stated that he is happy to hear bright voice of Mintimer (Sharipovich) and wished him good health and all the best.
