Meeting on preparation for 5th INFOFORUM-Eurasia has been held in Kazan

March 23, the working meeting on preparation for the 5th Eurasian Information Security Forum INFOFORUM-Eurasia to take place in Kazan 19-20 June 2009 was held at the RT Ministry of Informatization and Communication. The event is organized with the support of the RT Ministry of Information and Communication as part of the Year of Internet Security in Russia.

The Organizing Committee consists of 60 heads representing the RF State Duma, Federation Council, Security Council, leading federal ministries and departments, the Government of Moscow, largest unions and associations as well as world-wide renowned companies. The programme of the event includes a plenary meeting 'International aspects of information security: new challenges, tendencies, solutions', award ceremony for winners of the 2nd Eurasian Contest of Electronic Mass-media, topical editions and round tables, a press conference, cultural program and participation in the national festival of Sabantui.
