Conference devoted to 150th anniversary of Rizaetdin Fakhretdin took place in Kazan

A conference devoted to 150th birthday anniversary of Rizaetdin Fakhretdin took place today in Kazan in the conference hall of the Mardzhani Mosque.

The conference was attended by the first deputy chairman of the Tatarstan Muslim Religious Board Ramil khazrat Yunusov, the deputy mufti for religious affairs Suleiman khazrat Zaripov, the deputy mufti for charity questions Ildar khazrat Bayazitov, imam-mukhtasib of Kazan Mansur khazrat Dzhalyaletdinov and others.

The reports of the participants were devoted to various aspects of Rizaetdin Fakhretdin’s work. The report of the Tatarstan deputy mufti for charity Ildar khazrat Bayazitov was focused on a special role of the charity theme in his works and activity.

The participants of the conference also managed to get familiar with the published works of Rizaetdin Fakhrutdin which were displayed in the mosque, according to the press-service of the Tatarstan Muslim Religious Board.

In the conclusion of the forum the participants adopted a resolution where Rizaetdin Fakhretdin is recognized as a historic figure deserving attention of scholars. His works remain relevant in the modern society.
