Tatarstan’s premier holds meetings in Dublin

The Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roustam Minnikhanov while on a visit to the capital of Ireland, Dublin, on 3 March held meetings, reports the Cabinet of Ministers’s press service.

The Tatar head of government is as a member of the Russian official delegation attending the 7th meeting of the Russia-Ireland intergovernmental committee on expanding business cooperation, held in Dublin.

According to the Aide to the Prime Minister on external economic affairs Iskander Muflikhanov, Mr Minnikhanov met with the executives of the companies Queen and Sepam. The parties discussed issues related to economic cooperation. The Irish Queen is one of Russia’s larger investment partners, while Sepam is represented on the market of advanced automation technologies, including automatic gauging and control systems, technologies and research.

Today, the business event called Russia-Ireland Business Forum will open in Dublin. Ireland’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Russian government Deputy Chairman Dmitry Kozak and the Tatarstan Prime Minister Roustam Minnikhanov are to deliver reports. The Tatar Economy Minister Marat Safiullin is expected to present the Tatarstan’s economic potential at the workshop called “Russian Regions: Business Opportunities”.
