Turkish Film Festival to take place in Kazan

The festival programme includes films ‘Eternity’, ‘Brave hearts’, ‘White angel’, ‘Father and son’, ‘Happiness’ and ‘International’. The organizers also planned a premier of the film made after Chingiz Aitmatov’s Fate’s Gift.
The film festival “How do you do!” has started its tour around Asia under the motto “Turkic countries”. Its goal is to tighten and develop historic and civil ties between the countries. The organizers also planned to hold the weeks of Turkish films in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
The delegation of the Republic of Turkey is to arrive in Kazan on March 4. It will consists of Head of the Directorate of Cinematography and Copyrights of Turkey Seih Adburahman, deputy general director of the State television and radio company of Turkey Zeinel Koz and chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Turkey Ismail Gunes, according to Tatarkino.

On 6 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev laid flowers to the monument of the Great Russian poet Aleksandr Pushkin by the Jalil State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kazan.
