Grigory Rapota presented awards to Tatarstan citizens

March 2, Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President to the Volga Federal District Grigory Rapota presented state awards to outstanding figures of the Volga Federal District in Nizhny Novgorod.

As many as 23 residents of the Volga Federal District were awarded. Yuri Gortyshov, the rector of Kazan State Technical University named after Tupolev, of Tatarstan, received the Order of Friendship. By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Malafeyev, the deputy director general of OAO TAIF, was confered the title of honored constructor of the Russian Federation.
