New sport complex has been opened in Pustye Morkvashi

A new sport complex was opened in Pustye Morkvashi, Verkhni Uslon district, Tatarstan on the basis of the recreation centre Gazovik on March 4. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the opening ceremony.

The Gazovik complex with a capacity of 162 visitors boasts a 25-meter-long swimming pool, multi-functional hall for volleyball, basketball, mini-football, tennis and bowling.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Victor Chernomyrdin, the Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine, Bogdan Budzulyak, the Chairman of the Council of NP SOPKOR, Ravil Muratov, the First Deputy Prime minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Zyavdat Salikhov, the Head of the Management Administration of the RT President, Vladimir Osyanin, the Head of the Verkhni Uslon municipal district.
