Mintimer Shaimiev met with Anatoly Chubais, director general of «Rosnanotech» state corporation

March 26, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev received at the Kazan Kremlin a delegation of the state corporation of nanotechnologies headed by Director General Anatoly Chubais.

The talks at the Kazan Kremlin began with a bilateral meeting between Mintimer Shaimiev and Anatoly Chubais and continued with an enlarged meeting.

On the part of Rosnanotech the meeting was attended by state corporation oversight board member Leonid Melamed, member of the research and technology council Viktor Avdeyev, corporate director Andrei Trapeznikov, managing directors Dionis Gordin and Georgi Kolpachev and others.

The Republic of Tatarstan team at the meeting consisted of Prime-minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Prime-minister of Tatarstan Boris Pavlov, State Advisor to the Republic of Tatarstan President on economic issues Evgeny Grishin, President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Akhmet Mazgarov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Vadim Khomenko, rectors of Kazan higher educational establishments - Makzyum Salakhov of Kazan State University, Yury Gortyshev of Tupolev Kazan State Technical University, German Dyakonov of Kazan State Technological University, director general of JSC Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Rafinat Yarullin.

The agenda of Anatoly Chubais' visit to Kazan included visits to some republican enterprises. On March 27th, the head of Rosnanotech was to conduct a number of meetings at the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers and see a presentation of achievements of Kazan State University the sphere of nano-technologies.
