President of Tatarstan conducted meeting of the organizational committee for preparing to and holding celebrations dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war

The Republic of Tatarstan orgaizational committee for preparation and holding celebrations of the sixty fifth anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 took place at the Kazan Kremlin on March 25th. The meeting was presided by the organizational committee chair, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.

Issues studied in the course of the meeting included improvements in patriotic education of children and youth, organization of works at memorial sites.

The meeting was attended by RT State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Head of the Office of the RT President Yury Kamaltynov, first deputy Prime-minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - deputy chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan organizational committee for preparing to and holding celebrations dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 Ravil Muratov, heads of the Republic’s ministries, officials from the Office of the President, State Council, Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of the municipal districts, representatives of the public associations, different confessions, mass media etc.
