Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev has met with Communist Party Chairman Gennady Zyuganov

Mintimer Shaimiev, the President of the Republic of Republic Tatarstan, met with Gennady Zyuganov, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the head of the Communist Party faction in the Russian Federation State Duma, at the Kazan Kremlin on February 12.
Mintimer Shaimiev and Gennady Zyuganov discussed Tatarstan's social and economic development in conditions of the financial crisis and the pre-election situation in the republic.
Chief of Staff of the RT President Yury Kamaltynov and Deputy of the RT State Council RT Khafiz Mirgalimov also took part in the meeting.
