President of Tatarstan and Prime-minister of Saxony signed a communique

On 22nd of May Mintimer Shaimiev, President of Tatarstan met in Kazan Kremlin with Georg Milbradt, Prime-minister of Free State of Saxony, who arrived in the republic last Sunday on May 21 at the head of representative business delegation.

During today’s meeting parties agreed to develop mutually beneficial partnership between Tatarstan and Saxony in the field of motor industry, mechanical engineering, petrochemical industry. For these purpose it is planned in particular to use the opportunity of industrial Free Economic Zone "Alabuga" in Elabuga Municipal District, as well as to create conditions for small and medium business for transfer of high technologies, deliveries of equipment, development of different forms of cooperation in the territory of Free State of Saxony and Tatarstan.
