Financing Tatarstan projects is feasible due to Kuwaiti fund of economic development

Visit to the countries of the Middle East by Tatarstan delegation led by RT President came to the end yesterday by Mintimer Shaimiev's meeting with the Prime Minister of the State Kuwait sheikh Naser al-Muhammad al-Ahmed al-Dzhaber as-Sabah.

Prime Minister of the State Kuwait is the stepbrother of Emir of Kuwait of sheikh Sabaha al-Ahmed al-Dzhaber as-Sabah. In due time he was the Ambassador in Iran, the deputy minister of information, the minister of social affairs and labor, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, the minister on Emir Divan affairs. In February of this year sheikh Naser al-Muhammad is appointed Prime Minister of Kuwait. He well understands the international affairs, is known as realistically thinking politician, supports personal communications with many foreign heads and politicians.

Welcoming Mintimer Shaimiev, sheikh Naser al-Muhammad admitted, that Kuwait for a long time has been waiting for visit of the President of Tatarstan. As he said, the big merit in it is connected with Minister of Justice, minister of waqf and on affairs of Islam of Kuwait Abdalla Al-Maatouq. During a meeting the issues of cooperation were mentioned in the field of mechanical engineering and helicopter making, and the opportunity of attracting investments from Kuwait to SEZ "Alabuga", cooperation between commercial and industrial chambers of Tatarstan and the Near-Eastern states. The head of the Kuwaiti government emphasized, that he can promote adjustment of communications between representatives of business of our republic and Kuwait. He also assured Mintimer Shaimiev that is ready to consider and study various Tatarstan projects which financing could be carried out due to means of the Kuwaiti fund for economic development. «If you have projects which might interest us, the Kuwaiti fund for economic development is ready to consider them», - he promised.
