Today President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev delivered annual Address to State Council of RT

Today at the 22nd session of the RT State Council President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev delivered his annual Address on internal and external position of Republic Tatarstan.

Traditionally President strikes the balance of the past year, determines milestones for republic’s ministries and services, pinpoints priorities in the economic sphere of Tatarstan, gives political directions and touches upon the most important strategic targets of Tatarstan development.

The extended session took place at S.Saidash Grand Concert Hall.

Apart from the RT State Council members and Government of RT all 50 members of the Public Chamber, chairmen of committees of the City Duma, heads of city and regional municipalities, heads of executive committees of regions, representatives of villages and settlements were invited to the 22nd session. Also heads of Kazan districts, members of the youth public chamber, representatives of enterprises and companies, banking, small- and middle-scale, education, healthcare, clergy, heads of mass media, creative unions, members of political parties and others took part in the session. The session was broadcasted on air in 10:00 on channel “Tatarstan-New Century”.
