For 5 years GRP of Tatarstan has increased 2,5 times

Today the expanded board of the RT Ministry of Economy and Industry was held at the Youth center of "Ak Bars”, devoted to results of social and economic development of the republic per 2001-2005 and to the tasks for 2006 with participation of RT President Mintimer Shaimiev.

As the First Vice-Premier - Minister of Economy and Industry Boris Pavlov informed in his report for 5 years Gross Regional Product of Tatarstan has increased 2,5 times that speaks about successful process of solving the task of doubling gross national product of Russia by 2010. The volume of Tatarstan GRP increased in money terms in comparison with 2004 by 7 percent and made 510 billion roubles.

The greatest unit weight in GRP structure - 48,6 percent belongs to industry. The industrial enterprises in 2005 have shipped the goods in amount of 484 billion roubles that corresponds to the index of industrial production at a rate of 104,6 percent. The size of a similar parameter in Russia makes 104 percent. By volume of industrial production Tatarstan takes the first place in the Volga Federal District and 5th among subjects of the Russian Federation as a whole. «Social and economic development of the republic was passing in atmosphere of positive tendencies on creating the macroeconomic stability, having developed in Russia. In Tatarstan is operating about 65 programs of development of various branches of economy», - minister noted.
