President of Tatarstan met participants of Seminar “Dialogue, Tolerance and Education: Joint Forces of the Council of Europe and Religious Communities”

In Kazan Kremlin meeting of RT President Mintimer Shaimiev with participants of international seminar “Dialogue, Tolerance, Education: joint forces of the Council of Europe and religious communities” was held February 22.

The Seminar was initiated by the Human Rights Commissioner of the Council of Europe Alvaro Gil-Robles. New elected Commissioner on Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg, Ombudsman of Russia Vladimir Lukin, about 60 representatives of different clergies from different countries, public organisations, ombudsmen, ambassadors, theologises, historians and people deputies took part in the international forum.
